We are licensed through US Customs and Border Protection to produce and submit an entry for clearance into the US. We will classify your goods based on the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) in addition to submitting all of the information required to clear your cargo.
Importer Security Filing (10+2) & Prior Notice
As of January 2009 every importer is required to transmit an ISF for cargo entering by ocean vessel 24 hours prior to departure from port of lading.
The Public Health Security and Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002 states the FDA must receive prior notification of food imported into the US.
We are trained in these procedures so that your cargo may clear Customs quickly with no penalties.
Food & Drug Administration Classification
In addition to prior notice on food products the FDA requires each product to be classified with a unique code. We have an on site specialist who will find the best code for your product so that it may proceed through the FDA process quickly.
